Castelul Peles Castle Limousine Tour

.Fiind inceputa in 1873, costructia este finalizata in anul 1914.

One of Europe's best kept secrets

If planning a trip to Romania, the Peles castle is a must see. Conveniently located about three hours drive north-east of Sibiu International Airport, the palace was built on the order of King Carol I of Romania. The work commenced in 1873 and was completed in 1914. The castle is the sounding result of a  Austrian - German partnership of architects and designers. The plans of all 160 rooms were authored by Johannes Schultz, Carol Benesch and Karel Liman. The construction  came alive at the hands of designers JD Heymann in Hamburg and August Bembe in Mainz along with Bernhard Ludwig from Vienna. If there is one arhcitectural marvel, you cannot afforf to miss, thus is Peles Casstle.
